Most artificial turf main materials use PE grass silk. Although PA has good wear resistance, but the material is too hard, it is mainly used in landscape grassland; The wear resistance of PP is poor, the site service life is short, the application range is narrow; PE is soft and wear-resistant, and is now the first choice for most sports contact venues.
2. Form of grass silk: mesh silk, monofilament
Mesh silk has a large number of performance on many sites in China. Monofilaments have become popular in recent years. Their appearance is closer to natural grass, with beautiful appearance, slight advantages in wear resistance, and prices are usually higher than mesh silk.
3. Lawn height
Mainly depends on what the customer is used in the site, generally around 50mm can meet the use. If it is the European and American market football lawn, the height is usually 60mm, and the customary height in China is generally 40-55mm. The higher the height of the lawn with the same density, the higher the cost, the higher the filling accessories and labor costs will increase.
4. Pounds of silk grass
It is usually divided into 6600DTEX, 8800DTEX, 9700DTEX, 12000DTEX, 15000DTEX, etc., indicating the gram weight of grass silk per 10,000 meters.
5. Lawn density
The density of 50mm grass height is usually 10,500 pins/m2, but lawn density is related to pound weight and height. The higher the height or pound weight, the set density can be lowered appropriately. In short, the basic guarantee of a square meter of grass silk weight about 1 kg.
