Polyethylene Wax,as known as PE Wax, have very unique polymer properties that make them useful in many applications. Including hot melt adhesives, PVC, color masterbatches, rubber and thermoplastics road markings, etc. The major functions of  polyethylene wax in many formulations are to either provide lubrication and/or provide physical modification of a formula by changing viscosity and / or melt point.

Characteristics of PE Wax

The color of polyethylene wax is white or light yellow, and its shape can support block, flake or powder according to different needs. Its relative molecular weight is 1000~4000 and melting point is about 90~120℃. Polyethylene wax is non-toxic, non-corrosive, harder, high softening point and low melting viscosity. It has good wet resistance at room temperature. It has good lubricity, dispersibility and fluidity. It can be used with coatings, paints, inks, etc. It can produce extinction, dispersion and smoothness.

Applications of PE Wax

1. Dense masterbatch and filling masterbatch. As dispersant in the processing of masterbatch, it is widely used in polyolefin masterbatch. It has good compatibility with polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene and other resins, and has excellent external and internal lubrication.
2. PVC profile, pipe, composite stabilizer in PVC profile, pipe, pipe fittings, PE,PP molding process as dispersant, lubricant and brightener, enhance the degree of plasticization, improve the toughness and surface smoothness of plastic products. And in the production of PVC composite stabilizer is widely used.
3. Can be used as the carrier of pigment, can improve the wear resistance of paint, ink, improve the dispersion of pigment and filler, has a good anti-sedimentation effect, can be used as the flat agent of paint, ink, make the products have good luster and stereoscopic sense.

5. As a lubricant of cable insulation material, cable material can enhance the diffusion of filler, increase the extrusion forming rate, the flow rate of die, and facilitate demoulding.
6. Hot-melt products are used for various hot-melt adhesives, thermosetting powder coatings, road marking paints, marking paints, as dispersants, with good anti-sedimentation effect, and make the products have good gloss and stereoscopic feeling.
7. As rubber processing aids, rubber can enhance the diffusion of filler. It increases the extrusion forming rate, the flow rate of die, facilitate demoulding, and improve the surface brightness and smoothness of products after film removal.
