How to produce HDPE foamed sheet?

Step 1 :Mixing of ingredients:Weigh the HDPE resin particles, foaming agent, crosslinking agent, foaming aid, antioxidant and lubricant in a certain proportion. Put these raw materials into a high-speed mixer for thorough mixing to ensure the uniform distribution of each component.

Step 2 : Granulation into Pellets: The Mixture materials from the mixer discharged into Buffer Silo, which is standing by for the Granulation into Pellets.

Step 3 :Extrusion and Plasticization,Foaming molding:

Add the well-mixed materials into the extruder.
The extruder is usually divided into multiple heating zones, and through heating, the materials gradually become plasticized and reach the molten state.

Inject the foaming agent into the extruder at the appropriate position to make it fully mix with the molten materials.

After the molten materials are extruded from the die of the extruder, due to the decrease in pressure, the foaming agent decomposes to generate gas, causing the materials to foam and expand.

Step 4:Cooling and shaping:
The foamed sheet is rapidly cooled by the cooling device to shape and solidify it.

Step 5:Cutting and post-processing
Cut the sheet according to the required size.
Carry out surface treatment, inspection and packaging of the cut sheet.

Step 6:Surface treatment

Embossing: Rolling Embossing make the wood grained concave-convex feeling surface

Step 7:Chamfering and trimming of plastic wood strips

Removing sharp edges: To prevent accidental injuries caused by sharp corners and edges, especially when using or handling related products.

Enhancing aesthetics: Make the edges of the product smoother and more fluent, and improve the overall appearance quality.

Improving the hand feel: Provide a more comfortable touch feeling and increase the comfort of use.

In conclusion, chamfering and trimming is an important processing technique that can significantly enhance the product in terms of safety, aesthetics, functionality, etc.

Step 8:drilling holes

It’s possible to drill holes in five materials simultaneously.

Step 9:Assembly of the chair

Step 10 : Inspection for final quality control and Packaging before delivery.
