What’s the Standard UV coating processing?

A UV coating is a surface treatment which either is cured by ultraviolet radiation, or which protects the underlying material from such radiation’s harmful effects. UV coating is a very glossy, shiny liquid coating applied to a printed paper surface and cured on a printing press or special machine using ultraviolet light. The coating hardens, or cures when it is exposed to the ultra violet radiation.

If we simply compared with the Standard UV machine and Super Scratch Resistance UV Machine, we can’t see any advantages.

The Super Scratch Resistance is very attractive in the marketing, is there anything else we can benefit from that?  The answer is Yes if we look at the whole process:

One: Extrusion production cost was saved from the wear layer:

The standard Wear layer is 0.3mm(0.6$/sqm) for residential and 0.5mm(0.9$/sqm) for commercial

Now, we just need 0.2mm or even 0.1 is enough for all, even some factory will use printed film only.

How much we can save from that? 66.7% per sqm for the ware layer, so we can save 0.3$/sqm at least;

Two: Maintain cost was saved from the traditional lamp(1month or less) with LED(2years or longer time),

For example,if we change the traditional lamp once a month, it costs about $19200 to change 96 lamps once a year（$200*96 lamps). It can save $38400 at least if using  LED UV in two years.
