What is the production process of IXPE?

IXPE crosslinked foamed PE roll material line contains the following four-step processing:

Pelletizing-Extrude- Irradiation-Foaming-Winder

1. Three normal pelletizing methods:

Banburying-open mill-zipper pulls-cooling-cutting

Banburying-single screw extruder-water circulation(or air cooling)-cutting

High-speed blender-parallel twin-screw extruder-single screw extruder-water circulation(or air cooling)-cutting.

2. Extruder: The extrusion calendering unit calenses the granule into thin slices of a certain width and thickness
3. The irradiation equipment is the core equipment in the production line, which is used to radiate thin sections, making polyethylene molecules cross linked to form large molecules
4. After irradiation, the thin slices are foamed in the foaming oven.
